    Hi there!!

Im not sure how to go about getting floral arrangement experience… But, I would love to work with flowers and learn to create these beautiful bundles of flower art.

Do you have any suggestions on how I might learn these techniques so that I can get a job like this?

Thanks so much for your help!!

    Hello Elisha,

Some recommend taking courses while myself and the other designers here all learned from hands on experience. We all started working at beginner level positions and worked our way up. There are various books you can get on floral arranging but choose those that suit your style, we like designers such as Paula Pryke, Jane Packer and Preston Bailey to name but a few. Also, we love to keep current on what’s happening with other florist in other cities and countries and therefore we always are on the look-out for new and exciting floral websites. Finally, have fun, see what you can do with the flowers that may be different and unexpected, there are always rules but those were made to be broken!

    Best of Luck
