December is already upon us, and we are busy getting ready for the winter season at the studio. The scent of pine needles is in the air, while accents of red, silver, white and gold are beginning to adorn our arrangements. The holidays are a time when we revel in decorating our homes with the tasteful and the tawdry, from beautiful, handmade stockings hung by the fireplace to plastic Santas that do the festive conga at the flick of a switch. But my favourite Christmas decoration by far and wide has got to be the holiday wreath.
As a youngster, my family and I would walk through the forest, collecting boughs of cedar and holly for a Charlie Brown wreath, complete with giant, fluffy red bow. Although they are handmade with the same amount of care, there is nothing Charlie Brown about our Garden Party wreaths. Fresh, seasonal and modern, these beauties will catch the eye of everyone passing by your front door this holiday season
