Stephanie and Jacob were one of those awesome couples last summer who instead of going with the current blush trend, opted for a very classic Ocean Blue and Ivory colour palate. Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE our big petal blush and soft pink, but the cool ocean blue tones are an absolute treat to work with!!!

This bridal bouquet…….. It is just so glorious. As I mentioned before, it’s such a treat to do something with this colour palate. So obviously we’ve got that blue/grey/ivory situation happening. For that blue colour pop we used eryngium (some call it thistle or sea holly) as a real focal point as well as the blue delphineum. Dusty miller and some different eucalyptus bring that soft grey/blue.

If you look closely, there is also just a little bit of blush going on with some majolica roses, blushing bride as well as some hints of tuberose peaking through the blooms. The bouquet itself takes on a real country/meadow vibe with tons texture. The ivory blooms are August seasonal dahlias and vendela roses. Some flowers we used to achieve the wild/textured look are: veronica, ornithogalum, scabiosa pods, and of course some lisianthus! Below are each of the bridesmaid bouquets paired with their ocean blue dresses.

We adore the laid back but lovely shades of blue trio that the bridesmaid donned for the event. The blues and greys of the eryngium and dusty miller in bouquets really pop against the mid length dresses.

The groom with his groomsmen really played up that laid back romantic country vibe with their tan trousers, checked shirts, leather suspenders and bow ties. The boutonnières are fragrant tuberose blossoms, eryngium and eucalyptus.

How pretty are these flower girl’s mini majolica rose and eucalyptus floral crowns? No country rustic wedding is complete without flower girls in rose crowns. Its such a nice way to make the girls feel special and just as much apart of the wedding party as the bridesmaids.

Such a pleasure to work with, Stephanie and Jacob carry themselves with such genuine down to earth love. That simple true love shows in their photos. On their wedding day got they lucky with beautiful weather, a beautiful family and (with our help) some really beautiful flowers!
