Ana and Stephen opted for a simple yet elegant city wedding. They had a down to earth, heartwarming photoshoot in some of the naturescapes in the surrounding Vancouver area. We were so excited to create their flowers to match the occasion!
Her gorgeous full petal bloom, compact but modern style bouquet features white peonies, ranunculus, majolica spray roses, garden roses, vendela roses, lisianthus, and a touch of waxflower. The colour palate was a neutral but sophisticated whites, ivories and blush with greens. We paired the soft romantic blooms with a diverse mixture of textured greenery using the ever so popular dusty miller, dollar eucalyptus, gooney eucalyptus, some Italian ruscus and even the earthy toned olive branch.
Ana chose to have some coordinating blooms from her bouquet added into her hair. We prepared a few spray roses, both blush and ivory, some white lisianthus blooms and that beautifully textured wax flower. This added that extra touch of whimsy but at the same time it tied together that traditional elegance and absolutely suited Ana’s bridal look.
All in all, Ana and Stephen’s classy yet simple city set wedding is a stunning example of what is possible for the modern no-fuss bride. If you’ve got your heart set on that traditional white wedding floral but want a modern take and an effortless look, we can make it for you at Garden Party Flowers.
